INCREASE IMMUNE SYSTEM STRENGTH WITH ANTIOXIDANTS
Your immune system works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by protecting you from viral and bacterial infections. It will also fix and cure you of other problems and disorders. Is the immune system important? You bet it is! Your immune system does so many things to keep you alive and functioning. However it cannot do all that needs to be done efficiently without help.
Look at it this way. – You are the only one inside a manufacturing plant operating the automation machines. It is your job to keep them running and feed them product to make. What would happen to the entire manufacturing line if one of the machines has a problem? Production would stop or other problems may happen further down or up the line. Manufacturing would have to stop until you could fix that one machine. The only way to fix the problem and get manufacturing going again would be to hire more people to help with the entire process.
HELP YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM TO BE STRONG
The same is true for the immune system. The white blood cells of the immune system cannot do it all by themselves. They need the help of other nutrients and antioxidants to share some of that workload, which in turn strengthens the immune system.
So the more help you give your immune system in fighting infections and diseases, the stronger your immune system becomes. Just like adding more workers to a manufacturing line, the more supportive nutrients that can be taken, the stronger the immune system will be.
HOW TO STRENGTHEN THE IMMUNE SYSTEM NATURALLY
There are many ways that you can naturally strengthen the immune system. Two different ways you can do right now. If you live in the southern most areas of the United States, you can do three different ways right now. They are:
• Light to moderate exercise. A 15-30 minute walk in the park is all you need. Or you can also put on some music and dance. You can go ride a bike. NO excessive exercise! This will actually harm the immune system.
• Get some deep restful sleep WITHOUT the aid of any type of sleep medications. These medications should be avoided at all cost!
If you live in the southern most areas of the U.S. and it is during the fall and winter months, you can also do the following:
• Get outside WITHOUT sunscreen and get some sunlight on your skin and I am not talking about sun bathing. When you sun bathe you should always wear sunscreen. Just wear some shorts and a short sleeve shirt and take a walk. Again 15-30 minutes of the sun shining on your arms, legs, neck and face will be enough to create 20-30,000 IU of vitamin D. NOTE: If you have darker skin than Caucasian you will need 30-45 minutes of sun exposure.
These are the easy and free ways to boost immune system strength. They cost you no money, they are free!
YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM NEEDS ANTIOXIDANTS TO HELP
Antioxidants help the immune system to become stronger. They do this by sharing a lot of the healing workload that the immune system has to do. Many of the antioxidants you have probably heard of. I’m sure that there are some you have never heard of too.
The best and easiest way to get antioxidants into you is by taking them in pill form. You can also get them from eating fruits and vegetables but the nutrient values are not enough for optimal heath. Besides, how many people actually eat 5-7 servings of fruits and vegetables every day? I know I try but almost always fall a little short of the mark. That is why taking nutritional supplements are the best and easiest way of getting your antioxidants. It is much easier and convenient to swallow a couple of pills than to sit down and eat 5-7 servings every day of fruits and vegetables.
Here is a list of key antioxidants for a strong immune system:
• Vitamin D3 (The BEST there is)
• Alpha Lipoic Acid (The 2nd BEST there is)
• CoQ10
• Vitamin C
• Vitamin E
• Alpha & Beta Carotene
• Selenium
• Turmeric
• Quercetin
• Rutin
• Hesperidin
• L-Glutathione
• Milk Thistle (80% Silymarin)
• Grape Seed Extract
• Green Tea
• Bilberry Extract
• SOD (Superoxide Dismutase)
• Zeaxanthin
• Lutein
• Lycopene
• Resveratrol
• Chlorella
• Spirulina
• Astaxanthin
• Echinacea
• Black Current
• Zinc + More
I know what you are thinking. You are probably saying, Wow! Do I have to take all of those? – No you don’t. But isn’t Mother Nature wonderful to offer us so many safe and effective options? I personally do not take all of them. Heck, I haven’t even tried some of them. But it’s nice to know about them should I want to try them.
Unlike prescription drugs, antioxidants can be taken with other antioxidants without risk of any serious negative side effects. If you were to try that with prescription drugs you would definitely end up in the ER or the morgue.
I have already settled on the ones I always use. But before I knew which ones they were, I tried a lot of other ones. All of them worked to some degree, some worked better than others. The point is, everyone is different and have different needs. You just have to try them until you find the ones (other than the commonly known ones) that you personally like best. Mother Nature has a lot to offer us.
As you can see from the listing above, I list my 1st and 2nd favorites. Though Alpha Lipoic Acid I have as my 2nd favorite it is almost tied for first with Vitamin D3. Why? Because unlike most other antioxidants, ALA is both water AND fat soluble which means it has greater impact than any other antioxidant. Plus it can be manufactured in the body, albeit in very small amounts. Give them a try. Unlike prescription drugs, the ingredients of antioxidants are from Nature not a chemical lab.
If you have any questions about any type of antioxidant, please leave them below in the comments section. I will get back to you with a response.
